PROBE TECHNOLOGY

Our probe technology is applied in areas of fresh waters and seawaters for monitoring and waterbody quality control purposes. Long‑term determination and storage of hydrological parameters can be performed continuously and with low maintenance.

We provide measurement technologies both as single probes and combination-probes for the following parameters:

Temperature

The -4H-Temperature probe is a special design for sensitive areas of industries where the reliability of measured values plays a major role.

Thus, our probes are installed in power plants as well as in measurement networks for plant control systems. Our portfolio ranges from single probes, measurement networks with analysis software, to production of customer‑specific models with a variety of different interfaces.

Conductivity measurement

The -4H-Conductivity probe is designed for conductivity measurements in seawater, brackish water, freshwater, wate water, etc. and combines high resolution probe technology with a robust housing. The reliable anti‑fouling protection and low power consumption provides the opportunity of long‑term measurements, e.g. for offshore monitoring. The ‑4H‑Conductivity probe is available either with a connector flange or a fixed cable entry.

Pressure measurement

The -4H-Pressure probe is able to measure absolute, relative, and differential pressures in liquid media (seawater, brackish water, freshwater, waste water, etc.) and combines high resolution probe technology with a robust housing. This design covers a wide field of application, e.g. for scientific purposes having high requirements in terms of precision and resolution or for offshore monitoring use like gauge measurements, wave power, etc.

The -4H-Pressure probe is available either with a connector flange or a fixed cable entry.

Current measurement

The -4H-Current probe is designed for current measurements in coastal areas, in rivers and streams, in open drainage channels as well as in test facilities.

The standard version (Type N) is used for measuring slowly changing currents. Time constant and measuring range can be set within certain limits by the customer.

To determine rapidly changing trends, we offer a Type S with a measuring range of up to ± 5 m/s.

The -4H-flow probe normally is delivered with a connector flange for direction adjustment (north = + Y direction). In addition, a model with fixed cable entry is available.
